Hello! My name is Thomas Leveque. I'm 14 years old, and I live in Beaufort-en-Vallée, which is a little village next to Angers. I go to Jean Moulin high school. I am interested in volley ball. I love animals and watching "the Simpsons". I like watching movies and listening to music as well. That is all I can say about me. I’m looking forward to hearing from you. Kindest regards, Thomas.

Hello! Happy New Year!!! I live in Beaufort en Vallée, which is 20 miles from Angers. There are about 6000 inhabitants in my town. There is a small river near my village. It is not very cold here at the moment; it is approximately 0 degrees early in the morning and about 7 degrees in the afternoon. I spent my Christmas holidays with my family, and we ate a turkey. I received many presents for Christmas and got lots of money. I turned 15 on 31st December, 2010. Have a great day :D .

There is still one & a half weeks left before the end of the holidays (I have really been looking forward to them). Last week I went to a laser-game with a group of friends and I won two out of three. We (Pierre & I) have started to put images and a bit of text on paper, and we'd love it if you could correct the mistakes if there are some. Have a good weekend. Thomas

How are you?
Over here where I live, it has been warming up lately to 25 degrees by the afternoon. We were all very happy that the sun finally came because we were tired of the cold.

I think that the documentary shows that Americans and American politicians both live in fear of incidents and crimes involving arms. Some Americans possess weapons without realising how dangerous they are and treat them like toys, and this causes a lot of dangerous incidents. I think the government should stop the marketing of weapons to prevent incidents related to possession of arms.

In one week we will be on vacation for two weeks. The school will be renovated during our holidays because it’s been 15 years since it was built, and the effects of time on our buildings can now be seen. They will renovate the facades because it is turning black. Once renovated, the facades will look as it did when it was first built. On Thursday, we played football after eating because there were no classes after lunch. Bye for 3 days. Thomas

Earlier this week I did a test for sport (swimming); I think I received a good grade. From today, we are on vacation for two weeks. We were lucky because it was very nice and very hot yesterday. I played football with friends and got sunburnt. During the holidays, we will read a text and do a presentation on the text. We will put our presentations in our blogs. Our presentations will also be videotaped and placed in our blogs.

Today is 1 May; it is a national holiday even though it is a Sunday. It is called Labour Day. The tradition is to buy a sprig of lily of the valley to bring happiness. We still have one more week off school, but we have a lot of homework to do for Spanish and French, as well as a written presentation for English. There have been some rainy days during the holidays, but it has been okay.

There are still two and a half weeks before the major summer holidays. This week, we will receive our math and history test results; I hope I got good marks. The renovation of the school that I mentioned beforehand is progressing, and they have begun to change the windows.

Like every other Wednesday we had no class in the afternoon, so we left school and sat on the edge of the river Maine that lies just next to our school. We did it to breathe in some fresh air and to tan our skin.

Today was Mother’s Day in France, so I got my mother a bracelet. It was very hot (about 26/27 degrees Celsius). This week, baby geese were born at our place. We will be having more as the second female is still pregnant. This afternoon I'm going to see my cousins and my grandmother.

Tomorrow, classes will resume for a week before our major summer holidays. We had a great weekend because it was Ascension Day last Thursday (a public holiday), and so we had an extended long weekend from Thursday to Sunday. In France, when we have a long weekend like that, we say we 'faison le pont'.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, we will make a book to show what we did throughout the year in our classes. On Thursday, we will have a meeting during which we will receive feedback on the work that we did throughout the year. As I am a boarder at this school, I will see “Pirates of the Caribbean” with the other boarders on Thursday, and I will also pack my bags because I will be leaving the boarding school for the holidays.
